GPTRACK50’s zombie action RPG Stupid Never Dies will launch worldwide for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 21, followed by its Japanese release on October 22. Sega will co-publish and handle worldwide distribution for the game, which follows the timid zombie Davy as he battles through monster-filled dungeons in an effort to revive a frozen human girl named Julia.
The game is the first title from GPTRACK50, the Osaka studio founded by veteran producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi. Before establishing the company, Kobayashi worked on major Capcom franchises including Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Dragon’s Dogma.
GPTRACK50 also released music videos for the game’s pop-punk opening theme, “Stupid Never Dies,” performed by Davy and Julia, and its ending theme, “Restless, Reckless, Never Die, Fearless,” performed by Davy. Both tracks are scheduled to reach Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify and other major streaming services on August 4.
